‘Workampers’ for Hidden Ponds RV Resort
Seeking Workampers for the beautiful Hidden Ponds RV Resort in South Haven, MI…immediately, and also for the 2023 season, to work on resort priorities. Must always maintain a positive customer service standard, while simultaneously relishing a rewarding Workamping experience! South Haven/Lake Michigan is an amazing area to explore and enjoy during your off time…the opportunities are endless!
Basic Skills Required:
Workamping experience, or a background in tourism, hospitality or customer service are all strong assets. Our customers are our business and you are a front line representative of the resort.
- Common jobs that need cared for regularly are (we endeavor to match to your skill set):
- Yard work
- General resort maintenance
- Cleaning:
- bathrooms and showers
- pool area
- park homes/RVs, as needed
- Landscaping/grounds upkeep
- Guest services (in office)
- Computer proficiency is helpful.
- Security
Joining our Team makes you part of our family! Hidden Ponds is an expanding 74 site campground in Southwest Michigan, with Lake Michigan five minutes away. We host long-term, seasonal and short-term guests, and have ‘Glamping’, too! Workampers work cooperatively with Ownership on both guest service and campground objectives.
The right Workampers will easily build positive relationships with both staff and customers, be strong leaders and motivators and have a desire to exceed expectations. With Workamping comes the ability to explore and enjoy the South Haven/Lake Michigan area…which is a West Michigan showplace!
The person(s) hired for these positions needs strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities, monitor progress, react with grace to changing circumstances and assist in both problem solving and decision making in a busy environment. Most positions require bending, stooping, reaching and lifting to some degree.
Workampers may be able to work remotely (if desired) during the winter months of mid-November through mid-April, however, we are open May 1 through November 1 and you must be ‘on-site’ mid-April through mid-November. As a ‘Workamper’ this may be ideal for you and we can talk details that fit your situation.
