Job Description
ASSISTANT MANAGER COUPLE
Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory in Benson Arizona is currently looking for one couple with a strong work ethic to train in the capacity as assistant managers starting March/April of 2023. A minimum of two (2) year commitment is preferred. Prior experience in campground management is a plus. You must also meet the following requirements:
For Work Camper #1:
1. Minimum 1 year experience with Campground Master or similar.
2. Familiar with campground office procedures.
3. Ability to multitask.
4. You must have strong guest relations skills.
5. Must be able to help train seasonal staffing.
6. Must be well versed with Microsoft Excel.
7. You will be responsible for completing nightly checkout reports, as well as month-end reports and banking.
For Work Camper #2:
1. Competent in minor electric and plumbing repair.
2. Mechanically inclined.
3. Ability to manage people.
4. Strong guest relations skills.
5. Physically fit.
6. Ability to lift at least 40lbs.
7. An eye for detail.
8. Willingness to learn new skills.
9. Ability to learn to care for commercial pool and spa.
While all of these may not be daily duty responsibilities, we need folks that can perform as well as help lead others in these tasks.
WORK HOURS
In winter & summer we work 4 days on and 4 days off. You would work 2-3 hours per day. The park operates daily from 8am to 5pm.
Work Camper #2 will be expected to be available to outside staff in the capacity of guidance, overseeing or the leading of projects and general guest relations.
Work Camper #1 will be responsible for oversight of the office personnel and procedures, as well as reports mentioned above.
Both will assist in the training of new staff in their various positions. As staff become more familiar with their jobs, your duties will turn more towards supervisory.
COMPENSATION
Position pays $500/month. In addition, we supply a full hook-up site with 20-, 30-, and 50-amp service. Our sites are all gravel and average 30’ x 50’. We provide free: electric, propane, laundry, cable TV, WiFi, as well as a camp store discount.
If you have a motorhome that has the ability to hook-up to an external propane tank, we also provide a 100lb tank for your convenience so you will not have to move your rig to refill.

Butterfield RV Resort is a Woodall’s/Trailer Life top 100 park in the U.S. This park is very busy in winter and has many activities scheduled every day. We are the only privately owned RV Resort in the U.S. with its own university quality 16” telescope. Star shows are given to our guests nightly.
