DESCRIPTION:
Seeking to fill two camp host positions on the beautiful Columbia River.
Plymouth Park is 80 miles east of the John Day Dam, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, on SR 14 in Washington State.
Two hosts are needed, either two individuals, or two couples.
Duties include visitor services, litter pickup, light outdoor maintenance, light maintenance of restrooms and shower facilities with support from the Ranger staff.
Schedule: Volunteer camp hosts are expected to be on duty a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Environment: 33 site campground and day-use areas with swim beach and boat ramp. Campsite with electric, water and sewer are provided.
DUTIES
Visitor Services, litter pickup, light outdoor maintenance, light maintenance of restrooms and shower facilities with support from the Ranger staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Good people skills
· Camp host should be able to lift objects up to 30-pounds.
· Camp host should be able to bend, lift, and retrieve small objects from the ground.
· Camp host should be able to stay on their feet for 30 minutes at a time.
· Camp host should be able to perform non-strenuous duties for brief periods when outdoor temperatures reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
