Job Description

Delaware North is a premier hospitality company celebrating over 100 years of growth and innovation. Delaware North at Yellowstone operates 12 general stores in Yellowstone National Park along with support operations in the town of West Yellowstone. As a partner with the National Park Service, we employ 600 summer seasonal associates to deliver an extraordinary retail experience to the millions of guests that visit the park every year, providing them with food, equipment, supplies, keepsakes and collectibles through Yellowstone General Stores.

Yellowstone National Park is a 3,500 square mile wilderness area atop a volcanic hotspot mostly in the state of Wyoming. Yellowstone is home to hundreds of animal species, waterfalls, geysers, hiking trails and much more. Located an hour and a half drive from its neighboring small towns, Yellowstone is a remote area perfect for those seeking a summer hiking, animal watching, and enjoying the comradery that the park has to offer.

Per our concessionaire’s contract with the National Park Service, all associates are required to complete a pre-employment background check.

As the Admin/HR Clerk for one of the stores, the essential focus is to assist and serve our associates with answers to questions, guidance and dorm expectations, and assuring all documentation is completed in a timely and appropriate manner.  These include greeting the associates at location and providing a location overview and dorm expectations, etc; completing all documents required to assure associate is paid properly; oversee dorm livability and work with the HR Manager & Store Manager to handle HR issues as they arise; assure all documentation is completed for workplace accidents and that those document are properly sent to the HR representative; and the key element for this position is to be approachable, friendly and cordial to all associates no matter what position, country, gender, or socio-economic status.

We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors and guest service that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are team oriented.

Candidates must be willing and able to successfully pass Delaware North at Yellowstone trainings specific to this position. Applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment background check.

Associates will be required to work evenings and weekends, as well as split shifts.

We do have dorm style housing and RV sites available (single RV’ers welcome), associate discount, and recreational program.
