The Area Manager and all staff live in and care for Salt Springs Campground. One host site is in the primitive camping area, the others are in the RV area of the campground. Couples or singles are hired for various positions including: campground host, maintenance, gatehouse, day use, security and manning the store.
Located about 30 miles from Ocala at an elevation of 45 feet, this campground is in a semi-tropical region on the banks of Salt Springs. Campers come here to swim, fish, snorkel, hike, boat, and enjoy campground activities and the natural beauty of the area. The area includes a small store, company office, barn for games and crafts, and boat launch.
