Job Description
We are looking for help in the kitchen along with some housekeeping duties.
The Brandon Spring Group Center is in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (US Forest Service). The National Recreation Area is located in western Kentucky/Tennessee (the group center is located on the Tennessee end). The group center is an overnight facility for groups of all variety to visit and enjoy the outdoors. This position is primarily responsible for kitchen duties (food prep and cooking, working the serving line, dish washing, etc) and housekeeping of our eight 16-person dorms after each group visits. Work schedule would vary based on when we have groups scheduled. Work weeks can range from 3-5 days with shifts typically being around 6 hours.
We are flexible as far as start date and time commitment go. Ideally, we would like you to arrive in February or March and work through November. If you are unable to work through November, we would be ok if you stayed at least through the summer.
As compensation, you would get 1 full-hook up site (electric and water are included), $600/month per month per person, access to washer/dryer and a discount at our visitor centers and campground stores!
