Are you an RV’er looking for a fun, eclectic and adventurous area to live and work for the upcoming season? Come spend the summer season in Taos with us working at our RV park and spend your days off exploring Taos and the Enchanted Circle and taking in the gorgeous weather and beauty of where the Rockies meet the Southwest!
We are a husband and wife team and are avid RV’ers that are passionate about people and traveling. Taos Valley RV Park is our lovely 80 site RV park in beautiful Taos New Mexico. We are seeking a work camping couple to come join our already established team from the beginning of May until the end of October. We are only 2.5 miles to historic downtown Taos which is filled with vibrant culture and history, art, music, food, shopping, weekly farmers markets and festivals. There are also a variety of abundant outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, rafting, hot springs, horse riding and fishing for the nature enthusiast very close by.
We are preferably looking for a couple with some prior work camping and booking software experience but are also open to a couple with other applicable experience that is eager to learn. We attract a very laid back, cool friendly RV crowd and are hoping for a couple who is enthusiastic about RV’ing, loves interacting with other like minded travelers and passionate about creating positive experiences for our guests.
We are offering a large RV Site with FHU (30/50 amp), including electricity, strong Wi-Fi and a stipend for our onsite laundry in exchange for 10 hours a week per person. The first 10 hours per person a week goes toward the site rent/exchange and then any hours worked in addition to 10 hours each per week will be paid at $13/hour. Typical work week hours would be about 35 hours a week for the office person and 25 hours per week for the grounds/maintenance person.
One person will work on the grounds and the other in the office. Job duties for the office will include office work, reservations and check ins. The other job will be outside maintenance, restroom cleaning and gardening (we do not have any cabins at our park, so you won’t be cleaning any cabins!). Enjoy the same days on/off together with a consistent work schedule working 4 days on, 3 days off. Work days will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
Even though our park is busy during the summer season, we strive to maintain a work atmosphere that is fun and enjoyable!
