Salary: $14.65/hour.

Mountain Park, # Water: Yes Sewer: Yes Electricity: Yes Facilities in this area are in this elevation range: 5,800’ – 10,200’ Our Facility Leads ensure that guests have a great experience because the facilities are in proper working order and so is our equipment used by our staff . They are responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs for their assigned facilities and equipment. The assigned facilities are throughout a district (listed below) and the tasks and repairs are related to the sites, restrooms, buildings, water systems, trees and vegetation, and other amenities (e.g. gates, signs, information boards, etc.). Tasks and repairs typically are in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.). The assigned equipment is that equipment used by staff throughout a district and the tasks and repairs are related to the vehicles, tools, and landscaping equipment. Tasks and repairs typically are in one or more fields (e.g. small engines, landscaping tools and equipment, golf carts, vehicle preventative maintenance, etc.). Facility Leads assist with preparing facilities to open at the beginning of the season, as well as shutting down facilities at the end of season. Small projects that replace or extend the life of a facility’s asset will be as assigned. Location In north-central Colorado you’ll find the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests. The Canyon Lakes District is just west of Fort Collins, CO and the Cache la Poudre North Park Scenic Byway (Hwy 14) is the principle access route to the facilities in this area. The scenic byway winds through the mountainous, lodgepole pine forest and the Cache la Poudre River, Colorado’s only federally designated National Wild and Scenic River, runs adjacent as it climbs to Cameron Pass at 10,276’. For those escaping the summertime heat of the South Platte River Valley, the Canyon Lakes facilities offer an opportunity for fun and to cool off. There are a variety of facilities in the area that offer visitors campsites in a dense forests, a tent site open meadows, river or lakeside campsites and all of them are surrounded by steep mountains. This is a seasonal employment opportunity. AL&L maintains a bi-weekly payroll. Compensation is based upon hours assigned and worked. Wage rates are based upon the prevailing minimum wage. Hours may fluctuate according to usage and weather.
Managers work 3 to 8 hours per day, 6 days a week. We assign the hours for each campground based on our knowledge and past experience. Couples can share the hours as you desire, but the hours must reflect the actual hours worked by each couple. We employ single campground managers where the workload warrants only one person. Uniforms are required and are provided. Employees are given one day off per week. This is usually a Tuesday or Wednesday, but other arrangements can be made if approved by the District Manager.
