DESCRIPTION:
Lake Sidney Lanier- Corps of Engineers- is seeking volunteer Day Use Park Hosts for the Summer 2023 season.
USACE seeking Volunteer Park Hosts at 5 Day Use Areas around Lake Lanier for Summer 2023. Positions are available at West Bank Park, Van Pugh North, Lanier Park, East Bank Park, and Lower Pool West. Positions available for individuals and two-person teams. Schedules vary.
DUTIES
Each position will require the Park Host to work summer weekends and holidays. Park Hosts will be working with the general public and USACE staff. While the majority of work will be done inside a gatehouse, Park Hosts will be responsible for answering visitor questions, assisting visitors with the automated fee machine, educating visitors on Corps of Engineers water safety program, and patrolling the park periodically to check for parking and general rule compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have own RV, full hookup site will be provided.
USACE background check required.

A campsite with electricity (50amp), water, and sewage will be provided in exchange for a 20/30 hour work week.
