Seeking to fill 1 Camp Host position from March 1, 2023- February, 28 2024
Volunteer is required to work a minimum of 28 hours per week from March 1 through October 31, and 20 hours per week from November 1 through February 28. Volunteer will serve as the Campground Gate Attendant. Volunteer will be provided a campsite with 50/30 amp electric, water, and sewer hook-ups free of charge in exchange for work performed.
The volunteer gate attendant will be responsible for assisting customers by answering questions, taking complaints, checking visitors in and out, and submitting refund requests, making, changing, canceling reservations on behalf of visitors, sales of annual passes and point of sale items within the designated area assigned to the volunteer. From 1 March through 31 October, the volunteer gate attendant will be responsible for manning the gatehouse Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. From November 1 through February 28, the volunteer gate attendant will be responsible for manning the gatehouse Friday through Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Good communication skills are necessary. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from the work site and be at least 18 years old.
