Job Description
San Diego Mountain Lodge, a boutique hotel and event venue in Santa Ysabel, with a combination of cabins, campers, RV/camp spots, and a restaurant/bar is looking to hire for TWO positions: Hotel Housekeeper and Maintenance Person. This would be the perfect position for a couple that can assist each other in both roles. Housekeeping during high occupancy requires two people. On-site housing is provided! We can offer lodging in one of our remodeled studio cabins or provide RV parking with full hookups (preferred).
Hotel Housekeeper Duties
• Follow Housekeeping Checklist to ensure a consistent guest experience
• Cleans and sanitizes hotel and guest rooms
• Vacuums and sweeps floors, carpets, and rugs
• Makes beds and changes linens
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops
• Replenishes toiletries and towels
• Empties trash receptacles
• Replenishes supplies
• Wash all linens and keeps laundry room and supplies organized
Must be organized, professional, and have previous housekeeping experience and cleaning supplies
Maintenance Duties:
• Assist in routine maintenance of cabins and around the property
• Assist in ongoing projects on the property (e.g., building staircase, decking, shelving installation etc.)
• Chopping wood for guests and stacking in each cabin
• Tree trimming and groundskeeping
• Prepare campsites and RV spots for guests
Maintenance person must have their own tools and have experience in maintenance/construction. Carpentry experience preferred.
Housekeeper Pay: $25 per hour 20 hrs. per week guaranteed with lodging provided in our remodeled cabin. Additional $500 per month if living in RV. Additional hours worked are required for lodging.

We are only offering 1 Cabin/RV sport for both positions. The cabin offered, Bluebird’s Nest, is fully remodeled and has a full kitchen and bathroom, deck, and parking for an RV.
