DESCRIPTION

Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • Trail/Campground Maintenance • Visitor Information • General Assistance • Weed/Invasive Species Control DescriptionHost will work a rotating schedule 4-days on, 4-days off with another camp host or approximately 25 hours per week for one individual or 30 hours per couple. The camp host should be available to serve the visitors during most of the daylight hours or from 8:00am to 8:00pm on the days they are working with a lengthy break mid-day to rest or run errands. Duties include: Greet visitors, litter pickup, campsite cleanliness including picnic tables and fire rings; inspection and light maintenance of restrooms and day use area. Work Environment: ?33-site campground + day use area with swim beach and boat ramp. Qualifications: Camp hosts should be friendly and professional. Camp host should be able to lift objects up to 35-pounds. Camp host should be able to lift, bend and retrieve small objects from the ground. Camp host should be able to stay on their feet for 40 minutes at a time. Camp host should be able to perform non-strenuous duties for brief periods when outdoor temperatures reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
