Job Description

Seeking a hospitality superstar to join our team as the Facilities Manager for an RV resort & campground with marina rental operation located in Woodruff, Wisconsin. The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds. The Facilities Manager also manages and oversees all outdoor and maintenance team members.

This is a full-time position and reports to Home Office Management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Maintain the safety and wellness of the facility; ensuring all amenities are fully operational. Assist the maintenance team with all aspects of maintenance and repairs of grounds/facilities – i.e. the Lodge, pool, shower houses, streets, sites, marina, etc.

·         Perform outdoor supervisory duties, included by not limited to hiring, scheduling and training.

·         Conduct regularly scheduled safety trainings to ensure compliance of all necessary health and safety procedures, including emergency preparedness.

·         Maintain vehicles/equipment maintenance logs and ensure proper maintenance of resort vehicles.

·         Maintain inventory of equipment, tools and supplies.

·         Review all maintenance vendor invoices and contracts for accuracy.

·         Make recommendations to Home Office Management for capital improvement projects.

·         Engage with vendors for quotes on approved capital improvement projects and manage the completion of approved projects.

·         Monitor and maintain compliance with labor, expense, and capital budgets.

·         Identify issues with the property via physical inspections and feedback from guests (i.e. site flooding, cleanliness, or amenity concerns).

·         Maintain excellent curb-appeal of property at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

·         Hospitality, Resort or RV Park/Campground Management is a MUST! (Min. 3 years)

·         Verifiable track record of growth and success in a leadership position.

·         Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer knowledge.

·         Familiarity with or ability to learn use of Google Drive, Google Sheets and Google Docs.

·         Ability to work long hours, weekends and holidays.

·         Ability to be on call 24 hours a day during occasional periods.

·         Excellent problem solving, motivational, organizational, and leadership skills.

·         Must have valid driver’s license.

·         Personable, enjoy working with children/people.

·         Strong personal integrity and accountability with a can-do attitude.

·         On-site RV site provided. Must be willing to stay on-site during season.
