Job Description

Mesa Campground is part of a network of RV/Tiny Home Communities started in 2013. Many improvements are made to RV Sites, landscaping, accommodations, roadways, and amenities. This RV park is seasonal and only open between May-Sept (duties start 2weeks before and after) The park has 120 RV sites, 20 Park Models, Tipis, and Cabins.

The Park Manager lives on site in their own RV (full hookup site provided) and is responsible for overseeing the staff, front office operations, reservations, landscaping, maintenance & housekeeping to ensure park is kept operational for the enjoyment of the guests and ensuring maximum occupancy for the 5-month season.
Compensation includes 1099 monthly pay + RV Full-Hookup site.

Responsibilities
Manage daily operations including:
GUESTS: Answer Guest reservation inquiries from phone, email, or websites and secure bookings using an online reservation system in a timely manner.
Coordinate Guest check in/outs and daily activities.
Responsible for collecting deposits and rents to seasonal Guests, by providing billing information, and providing compliance and eviction documents to non-compliant Guests.

PARK: Responsible for maintaining the property in a presentable and safe condition by ensuring landscaping, maintenance & housekeeping functions are accomplished according to SOP standards keeping the park operational for the safety and enjoyment of the guests.
Schedule repairs, maintenance, and landscaping requirements.
Ensure safety for guests, staff, buildings, and equipment, managing locks, and key access and all issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner.
Maintain and enforce Park rules and standards.

STAFF: Work with HR manager to Hire/Fire. Train, Schedule, and Work closely with the Reservationist, Maintenance, Landscaping and Housekeeping staff to ensure the property remains in excellent condition, keeping the Guest’s needs at the forefront.

OFFICE: Maintain Guest Office hours, equipment, and services. Submitt supply requests for the park, bathrooms, accommodations, and office.

FINANCE & REPORTING: Control authorized expenses, completing bank deposits, and providing accounting for all transactions. Process Income and Expenses, Cash, Deposits and Receipts. Submitting Weekly/Monthly Reports as required.

Park Manager refers and adheres to Park SOPs and should also be proactive in monitoring and improving social media / online presence. Responsible for Maintaining website and social media profiles.

Should lead by example by presenting a professional appearance and conducting themselves in a respectful and professional manner.

And fulfills other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent + some college

Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Outlook email and internet savvy of social media and marketing outlets.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Engaging personality, strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Maintain composure under pressure, or stressful situations

No smoking or recreational drug use.

Experience:
Previous hospitality and management experience (2 years minimum)
Empty nesters a plus
Reservation system experience preferred.
MS Office Apps and Internet savvy: 2 years

Payment & Schedule
Full-Time Contract seasonal position – paid monthly, includes RV site including utilities.
Park manager must live on site.
Hours vary, manager maintains a minimum 32hour schedule.
