Park Facilities Support
Volunteer
Job Description
DATES: 8/4/2023 – 10/21/2023
Help collect recycling and trash while driving the park—from the Alpine Visitor Center, to the campgrounds and trailheads. Volunteers will begin their day at the Alpine Visitor Center, and work their way down the mountains on a pre-planned route, collecting either trash or recycling from their respective bins.
Rocky Mountain National Park receives millions of visitors every year. These visitors generate a lot of trash and recycling—help your park out by helping manage these high levels of trash, and keep Rocky green by assisting with our recycling program.
Housing may be available for volunteers serving at least 30 hours per week. Housing options are a cabin or RV/trailer site. Volunteers wishing to stay in a RV/trailer site may start at any time. Those wishing to stay in the cabin will start on or after August 4th.
