DESCRIPTION:
Main Goals for This Position to Accomplish:
Volunteer will orient visitors of the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park and assist in telling the story of President Carter’s life and the experience of a close knit rural southern community.
Brief Description of Work to be Performed:
Work will include greeting visitors at either Plains High School or the Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm, staffing the front desk at Plains High School, and ensuring all brochure holders are adequately supplied, and assist in the opening and closing procedures of the park.
Length of Commitment:
Volunteer will come on a scheduled weekly basis. To be eligible for the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park to supply a paid RV spot, the volunteer or volunteer group must work a combined 32 hours per week.

Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm and Plains High School
Physical Requirements of Work:
Volunteers must be able to work outdoors for an extended period of time with moderate lifting on an occasional basis.
