DESCRIPTION:
This is a park sitting/grounds keeping position. The Volunteer will be responsible for grounds keeping at Abbie Creek and West Bank Parks on the Alabama side of the Chattahoochee River and also keep oversight of Highland Park (where you would reside in your RV) to report vandalization or such.
Required to clean park restrooms, take trash out of receptacles, and pick trash up on ground in 2 parks over the winter (10/1/23-3/1/24). Job to be performed Mondays and Fridays. Full hookup campsite is furnished at Highland Park. A government vehicle is provided, so must have valid driver’s license.
This position requires a background check due to the 6-month duration of the job.
