Full Time Traveling Position 3 weeks away from home then 1 week off
We travel various states and promote 5 Day roadshow events in hotel meeting rooms/conference centers. We purchase antiques, collectibles, old coins, jewelry, gold and silver bullion, etc. We publish our own 16 page newspaper that is mailed out prior to our show date in host cities, letting the public know we will be buying certain types of items. People gather items up and bring them to the hotel for us to examine and see what our offer to buy would be. After we give our offer, they can decide if they want to sell. Those that decide to sell will be paid on the spot and we collect their items. These items are then brought back to our West Columbia processing facility where we sell them online and directly to private collectors. We are looking for married couples, partners, etc to manage one of our traveling roadshow teams. This is a salaried position with bonuses based on a shows purchases. We train every aspect, so there is no prior experience required. However, a good work history is required. We are looking for hard-working, self-motivated, honest, non-drug users to join us. Currently we are doing a lot of work in the state of Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, Texas, and others. Over the next 24 months we will grow across the United States.
A typical roadshow last five days Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Typically we do three 5 day shows back to back with 2 days off between shows and then take a full week off. So three weeks on the road and then come home for one week. As I previously stated we will train every aspect of this, so no prior experience is required however, a sales background, and or a customer service background is greatly beneficial. Basically if you are a “people person” that is a good trait we look for. I personally have been doing this for over 40 years. I will train you myself on exactly the items we want to buy how to identify them how to value them and how to make your offer and close the deal. This job is a lot of fun. There is no cold calling as our customers are coming to us to sell their items. If you like, antiques, collectibles, old coins, gold jewelry and rare, unusual and unique items, this might be something you will love I know I do. We would like to add as many as eight teams over the next few months. We have positions available immediately. The next show I will be working is in Scottsdale Arizona and will be leaving the 5th of September and returning September 30th. I am hopeful that we can identify one or two teams/couples and they can go to Scottsdale Arizona with my team and start the training process. Training will last 3-4 weeks, those that make the cut will advance to manage/operate their own roadshow team. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in let’s talk. Oh, one more thing we pay all hotel room cost and travel expense so there’s nothing out of pocket for you other than your food.
