DESCRIPTION
Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • Computers • Office/Clerical • Tour Guide/Interpretation • Visitor Information • General Assistance Description Take an adventure to South Florida and join our outstanding team of volunteers .This is a great opportunity for an individual or couple to work as campground hosts at our Ortona South Campground and assist its friendly campers and fishermen. Will be responsible for operation of Ortona South Gatehouse along the scenic and peaceful Caloosahatchee River. Specific duties include, proficient operation of R1S computer program (training will be provided), collection and transmission of fees, receiving telephone calls, recording data and providing visitors with local area information. Will work a four day on-four day off schedule. Must maintain professional appearance and manner. Must be willing to abide by Volunteer agreement and submit a standard background check (required by all USACE volunteers). Special Skills: Proficient computer operation skills required to ease fulfillment of job duties, pleasant personality preferred.
