CAMPGROUND: Allatoona- Cooper’s Furnace Day Use

RV INFORMATION: Trailer/RV PadsDescription: A campsite with electricity (50 amp), water, and sewage will be provided in exchange for a 20/25 hour work week.

Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • Tour Guide/Interpretation • Visitor Information • General Assistance DescriptionVolunteer Park Host couple will work a 4 day-on, 4 day-off rotating schedule with approximately 20-25 hours per week. Park Host will be required to work some weekends and holidays. When on duty, Park Hosts will ensure that gates are opened and closed at the appropriate time as instructed. The Park Hosts will be responsible for patrolling the park periodically every day to check for parking, general rule compliance, and vandalism (personal vehicle required). Park Hosts will distribute information, post the dam generation schedule, check out volleyball and horseshoe equipment, and manage the usage of shelters by Paid Reservation Groups. Position invovles handling fees. Work environment mostly in gate house, some outdoor patrolling or park.
