DESCRIPTION

Volunteer Activities• Conservation Education • Office/Clerical • Visitor Information • General Assistance DescriptionVisitor Center Aides are needed to staff the information desk at the refuge Visitor Center and give information to visitors, sell items in the Visitor Center non-profit bookstore as necessary, restock brochures, re-fill birdfeeders, and answer the phone. Aides will work under the supervision of the refuge Park Ranger. Opportunity may be available to give educational programs to school and other groups. Work times are flexible, but at least 24 hours/week is required of volunteers staying at refuge facilities. Non-resident volunteers are required to work at least one day/month.
