Seasonal Job: March 1 – November 1
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as liaison between park users & park staff.
- Greet and assist visitors, answer questions and explain regulations.
- Assist with the camper reservation process.
- Assist campers in locating their campsite.
- Keep a report of occupied or vacant campsites.
- Be familiar with local points of interest and the location of services that might be requested by campers such as towing, groceries, churches, tourist attractions and local events.
- Perform light maintenance work around the RV Park
- Such as litter pickup, trimming or weeding, cleaning and stocking of restrooms and laundry rooms, providing information to park managers on potential problems, and disseminate information to campers.
- Clean RV sites and camp sites by performing minor maintenance tasks such as raking the campsite pad, washing tables, cleaning out fire rings and picking up litter. Report any damage to your supervisor. Each site must be cleaned after every camper checks out and before another camper checks in (11am-1pm).
- May assist in campground public relations, educational activities, and special events/activities.
- Monitor campground for policy violations
- Host shall not attempt to discipline or apprehend any park violators. Host will report all disturbances to the Park Manager. You are to inform campers of rules and regulations, but are not to participate in any high risk activity. Host must set an example by being a model camper practicing good housekeeping at all times in and around their assigned site and by observing all rules and regulations.
- Keep a written report of complaints and criticism of park facilities, report situations that could affect the health and safety of visitors, and report any maintenance items which need immediate attention. Maintain other written records as requested by the Park Manager.
Working expectations:
- Host is expected to work most weekends and holidays during their term.
- Host is expected to work Wednesday-Sunday night shift at the office, 5pm-8pm, and to be available to campers 8pm-10pm at their campsite.
- Be prepared to provide campground coverage at any hour, day &/ night.

Skills required:
- Ability to get along well with people.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Computer
- Ability to remain calm and friendly.
- Ability to physically get out and make rounds through the RV Park area.
- Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.
- A good knowledge of the park and surrounding area.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Must be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, copiers, office machinery, etc.
- Must be honest, punctual and reliable
- Must be able and willing to learn campground software (Campspot & Toast POS)
Working Conditions:
Work can be outside in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions. Walking is required.
Must reside in the RV Park.
Benefits:
The use of a RV site and all utilities at no charge (RV not included)
Paid for any hours worked over 20.
Time Commitment:
30-40 hours per week to include most weekends and holidays. The breakdown of hours is as follows:
10-20 hours paid plus 20 hours per week for the RV site.

Mobile camping unit. (RV or trailer)
