Park Host

Headquarters Park Hosts supplement Park Headquarters staff by staffing a fee station. Headquarters Park Hosts perform a minimum of 25 hours per week. In exchange, the park provides a campsite with full hook-ups and 50-amp electrical service. After these volunteers are trained, a typical week would involve these volunteers staffing the fee booth on Park Road 57 for roughly eight hours per day on Friday Sunday. This could be nearly a complete work week. For Headquarters Park hosts who wish to work beyond the 25-hour per week requirement, we are open to providing opportunities in maintenance and natural resource management as much or as little as the volunteer desires between Monday and Thursday.
