Job Description
Meadows of San Juan Resort (formerly known as Montrose Jellystone Park) has made many improvements to RV Sites, landscaping, accommodations, roadways, and amenities.
We are searching for an on-site Camp Host couple who is responsible for overseeing all front office operations, reservations, landscaping, maintenance & housekeeping and security to ensure park is kept operational for the enjoyment of the guests and ensuring maximum occupancy year-round.
Compensation includes monthly salary +housing.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations including:
GUESTS: Answer Guest reservation inquiries from phone, email, or website (i.e., AirBnB/Hipcamp) and secure bookings using the RMS reservation system in a timely manner.
Coordinate Guest check in/outs and daily activities.
Responsible for vetting Extended Stay Guests, showing of the property and rental units, obtaining credit and background checks of applicants, collecting deposits and rents, providing billing information to Guests, and providing compliance and eviction documents to non-compliant Guests.
PARK: Responsible for the property is kept in a presentable and safe condition by ensuring the landscaping, maintenance & housekeeping functions are accomplished to Owner/SOP standards keeping the park operational for the safety and enjoyment of the guests.
Schedule repairs, maintenance, and seasonal landscaping requirements.
Ensure safety for guests, staff, buildings, and equipment, managing locks, and key access and all issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner.
Maintain and enforce Park rules and standards.
STAFF: Work with site manager to hire/fire, train, schedule, and work closely with the Reservationist, Maintenance, Landscaping and Housekeeping staff’s daily duties.
OFFICE: Maintain Guest Office hours, equipment, and services. Submit supply requests for the park, bathrooms, accommodations, and office.
FINANCE & REPORTING: Control authorized expenses, completing bank deposits, and providing accounting for all transactions. Process Income and Expenses, Cash, Deposits and Receipts. Submitting Weekly/Monthly Reports as required.
Park Manager refers and adheres to Park SOPs and should also be proactive in monitoring and improving social media / online presence. Responsible for Maintaining website and social media profiles.
Should lead by example by presenting a professional appearance and conducting themselves in a respectful and professional manner.
And fulfills other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent + some college
Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Outlook email and internet savvy of social media and marketing outlets.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Engaging personality, strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Maintain composure under pressure, or stressful situations
No smoking or recreational drug use.
Experience:
Previous hospitality and management experience (2 years minimum)
Empty nesters a plus
RmsNexus reservation system preferred.
MS Office Apps and Internet savvy: 2 years
Salary & Schedule
Full-Time Salaried position – paid monthly, includes RV site and utilities.
Park manager must live on site.
Hours vary seasonally, manager maintains a minimum 32hour schedule.
No smoking or marijuana use
