Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • Construction/Maintenance • Other • Trail/Campground Maintenance • Visitor Information • General Assistance Photo Courtesy of FS DescriptionCome to the beautiful Oregon coast and join us as a volunteer roving caretaker!  Great opportunity for an individual or couple to assist our Recreation program in the care of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. This position requires the use of a government vehicle; a driving test will be given on arrival. Must be fit enough to handle some heavy lifting and physical work. Duties include, but not are not limited to, cleaning and stocking restrooms, picking up litter, blowing leaves, cutting and removing brush, mowing. RV/Trailers must be 2002 or newer (please be prepared to provide a photo of your RV/trailer.)  For your service, a full hook-up paved RV/trailer site and propane is available for your use. The site has 50 amp electrical service. Uniforms are provided. This is a year-round position. A six-month commitment is requested.
