Job Description

Prescott National Forest is looking for energetic, hardworking, fun-loving couples to serve as volunteer hosts at camprounds with adjacent day use sites. Opportunities are located on the Verde Ranger District near the town of Jerome, Arizona. Previous host experience is helpful but not required.
Seeking people who love being good stewards of the land, have excellent customer service skills, friendly and patient personalities, ability to perform daily campsite and restroom cleaning, light maintenance, and tracking reservations where applicable. Volunteer hosts must own their own accommodation (RV/Camper/Motorhome) to live on site; tents are not permitted. A host campsite with utilities (electric, sewer, potable water) is provided at no cost to the volunteer. When applying to these positions please provide at least 3 professional references (e.g., supervisors, coworkers, business contacts, others who know your work ethics and skills).
NOTES:
- Applicants with partners/spouses wanting to host together should apply SEPARATLY and provide at least 3 professional references each! This will help better feature each person’s unique skills and abilities.
- Pets permitted with proper vaccination documents, and rules apply.
