Full Time Campground Office Manager
Role, Duties, and Responsibilities
Basic Job Summary:
The Campground Office Manager position is responsible for ensuring office productivity by managing file systems and overseeing daily procedures. Supervise office associates and provide any administrative support they may need, as well as performance feedback. Communicate with all guests staying in the campground, and confirm that all sites have been paid for in addition to being in compliance with the campground code. Verify that all campground records are being kept completely and accurately. Manage all issues that may arise from the campground. Responsible for all groups and picnics that may reserve dates to attend the amusement park.
What duties and responsibilities will I spend the most on?
Supervising staff and maintaining filing systems. Answering phones and any questions guests may have in regards to the campground, amusement park, or racetrack. Prepare daily reports that reflect all sales that come through the office. Create schedules for campground associates and confirm timesheets each week. Scheduling appointments and interviews, organizing and processing tickets and catered meals for groups and company picnics, checking in campers, working with the sales rep on picnic contracts and agreements, working with HR to maintain employee files, collecting and sorting camper mail, and assisting with other clerical duties. Keeping email lists up-to-date.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assisting human resources as needed in regard to employee files and payroll. Ensure that all consignment-related tasks are being completed correctly and on time. Work with ticketing management on all tasks related to reserved schools, groups, company picnics, or birthday parties to ensure seamless operations. Oversee office equipment and notify of any issues or malfunctions. Observe office supplies and notify of any shortages.
What knowledge, skills, and abilities are needed to perform the above work?
Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. The ability to learn Quick Books is mandatory. Effective communication skills are vital between both residents and associates. Ability to work weekends and three days during the week.
