Spend Summer of 2024 near Acadia National Park @ Acadia Seashore RV Resort & Campground! Acadia National Park is the 6th most visited park in the NPS system, and Acadia Seashore Campground is only 30 minutes from this iconic park.
Ownership is new and we are looking to maintain and even improve upon the previous owners stellar 4.8/5.0 ratings on Google. We are looking for a team that is willing to go above and beyond to delight our guests!!
We are looking for 1 couple, a maintenance person and one reservation/phone/store/all-around helper. Acadia Seashore is a small 47 site park, in Sullivan, Maine, a 30 minute drive to Acadia National Park.
Maintenance person should be an adept generalist with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. Primary roles will be cleaning bathrooms/showers daily, honey-wagon service 2x/week + on demand, cleaning sites and firepits upon departure, mowing as needed, splitting wood( we have a lot of it to prepare for 2025!! ), and assisting our guests, taking them to their site at check-in.
Store person will be assisting with guest check-in, answering the phones, working on reservations( we use Firefly ), and having an eye for making improvements to the store.
Neither of these job descriptions are meant to be all-inclusive… with a small park, we are limited on staff, so we are looking for a couple who is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and pitching in.
Work week is approximately 25+ hours each @ $20/hour for maintenance and $15/hour for reservations/store + a FHU site which includes water/sewer/electric and internet in return for your first 4 hours paid each week. Your 2 days off, Wednesday/Thursday are together 2 days so you can enjoy Acadia NP, the beautiful Atlantic coastline and quaint towns and villages which abound…maybe eat a lobster or lobster roll or 2!!
We are looking for 2 people who have customer service in their DNA, who are courteous and respectful of others and want to have a FUN experience!
Season is from June 1 – October 15, 2024… spend your Summer watching the sunrise come over the ocean in the most eastern point of the US…awesome!!
