DESCRIPTION:
The Bureau of Land Management Tucson Field Office is advertising a site host position opportunity at the Fairbank Historic Townsite located in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. The position is a six-month term with the BLM. The Site Host will be working at a popular recreation area and heritage site that attracts visitors from around the world. The site host will be working closely with BLM’s partner organization, the Friends of the San Pedro River.
Duties include the following:
- Meet, greet, and inform visitors
- Facility and grounds maintenance operations
- Recreation use and site monitoring
The BLM will provide a space to set up an RV or travel trailer, water hook up from an on-site water system, electric hook up from an existing panel, propane refills, and septic tank hook up.
