Come stay, work and play in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota! Located just minutes from Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park, we are a small, family-owned operation with 13 units (3 lodge rooms, 2 guest suites and 8 glamping cabins) between two properties almost next door to one another.
We’re currently looking to add to our seasonal work camping staff. Couples traditionally work best for our needs, but we will consider all applications. Main duties are housekeeping and property maintenance, but projects are never in short supply. The average workweek will consist of about 40 hours (20 per person in a couple, or 40 for an individual) — some weeks will be busier, some not so much. We are open mid-April through mid-October. We’re somewhat flexible on start and end dates, but we do expect commitments to be honored once made.
Site exchange is 18 hours of work per week, which includes water/sewer, 50A electricity, laundry, trash, admission to many local attractions and good WiFi (cell service is sparse in our neighborhood). Hours worked beyond 18 will be paid wages of $15.55/hour plus bonuses. We’re looking for self-starters with a good work ethic, and military veterans and first responders are encouraged to apply.
