JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a resident volunteer opportunity at Cape May and Supawna Meadows National Wildlife Refuges, NJ. During your time volunteering, you’ll work side-by-side with Refuge staff and become part of the Refuge family. Projects you’ll be helping with include, but are not limited to, grounds and building upkeep, trail maintenance, biological surveys, and visitor education. Volunteers are expected to work for 24 hours a week. While off-duty, historic Cape May is a short drive away, Atlantic Ocean is a stone throw away, and numerous other attractions within a hour’s drive. Length of the opportunity is flexible based on your needs, although it does start to cool down in October. Please note, this is a resident volunteer opportunity for RV owners and a RV pad with hookups is provided. Pets are not permitted.
