JOB DESCRIPTOIN:
Lake Cleveland is located in Cassia county about 33 miles from Burley Idaho and 15.5 miles from Albion Idaho. Lake Cleveland can easily be accessed via paved forest road 549.
The host spot is conveniently located overlooking the lake and across from the reserved camping. Hosts may receive reimbursement for food, gas, and incidentals up to $28 per day. This campground is located 33 miles from the nearest hospital and large grocery store. The nearest fuel and small convenience store is located in Albion, Idaho approximately 15 miles away. Lake Cleveland has no water/no electric and 29 units
Thompson Flats is located in the Albion division of the Minidoka Ranger district. Thompson Flats is accessed by a paved road that ends at the top of the Mt. Harrison Lookout. It is located 12 miles from the small town of Albion, Idaho and 30 miles from Burley. Shopping and gas are available in Burley and a few convenience stores in Albion. Thompson Flats has septic and 25 units and 3 reservable family group sites.
a) Greet arriving guests, assist with check-in and check-out
b) Post reservations
c) Clean fire pits, parking areas, and roadways
d) Clean restrooms as per our cleaning schedule
e) Monitor campground and handle any concerns or questions from guests
f) Be a friendly and helpful resource to visitors
g) Enforce campground rules and regulations
h) Resolve conflicts among campers and report problems to management as needed
i) Collect payment from campers and envelopes from fee tubes
a) Knowledgeable about visitor services and amenities in the forest and campground.
b) Able to work weekends, nights and holidays
c) Strong communication skills
d) Positive attitude toward the campground environment
e) Genuine concern for guests camping/lodging experience
f) Able to work unsupervised
g) Able to follow direction and work in a team environment
h) Valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history, and no DUI within the past 10 years.
i) Able to reside in personal RV that is less than 20 years old
j) Recreation experience preferred

Candidate will need to have a RV or trailer. Tools and campground supplies will be provided. Host will need to provide their own power source if desired, as well as a vehicle that can travel gravel roads. Hosts may receive reimbursement for food, gas, and incidentals up to $28 per day. Position will work Thursday-Monday with Tues/Wed off.
· Volunteer a minimum of 4-6 hours a day 20-30 hours weekly and be available other time for public interactions.
· Pass a minimal background check and possess a valid state driver’s license.
