JOB DESCRIPTION:
Visitor Center host work the information desk in the park’s visitor center and entrance station. Greeting visitors, answering questions, explaining the nature of the park, answering phone calls, responding to visitor correspondence, operating fee and store registers, operate audio-visual equipment, research information for visitors and assisting rangers with programs and operations of the visitor center. Assist rangers with projects and special events.
An RV site with full hook ups is available for this position.
Prince William Forest Park is a 15,000+ acre park preserving a variety of natural and cultural history within 32 miles of Washington, D.C. The park has 37 miles of hiking trails, over 21 miles of bicycle accessible roads and trails, numerous campgrounds and numerous cultural opportunities varying from CCC cabins to the OSS.
