Job Description
Nestled in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, the Horse Creek Resort is recruiting for the 2024 summer season. Our family-owned resort is looking for outgoing, friendly couples and/or singles willing to spend the outdoors with us, May through September. Must be willing to commit to minimum of 24-30 hours per week per person, maintenance and housekeeping positions available. This position would best fit motivated individuals willing to fill multiple roles in the park. Roles include the following:
Maintenance Team: Duties include mowing, weed whacking, light landscaping, painting, RV site and general unit maintenance, site and general unit maintenance, small equipment operation (Kubota/bobcat/golf cart), and assisting guests as needed with small issues.
Housekeeping Team: Duties include cleaning and maintaining laundry room, restrooms and cabins. Specific duties replacing bedding, cleaning rooms, halls and bathrooms, replenishing supplies, inspecting rooms according to standards, notifying superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances, and dealing with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
Candidates must be organized, friendly, and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidates would be a couple looking to stay at the resort for the summer.
Compensation would also include a free stay at either an RV site (must have an RV suitable for full time living, registered and licensed), or possibly an on-site 2-bedroom apartment.
