Campground Host

Illiniwek Forest Preserve campground is located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Hampton, IL just below lock and dam 14.  There are 60 RV and 25 primitive sites along with two shower buildings and a public restroom.  Illiniwek campground also has a boat ramp, playground, and the Great River Trail that runs for 60 miles along the Mississippi river.  Illiniwek also has 4.5 miles of multi use hiking/biking trails with a scenic overlook that has views of the Mississippi river valley.
