As part of our team, you will be a proud steward of the RV resort and play an essential role in providing warm and friendly hospitality to our guests!

Idaho Sky RV Resort is  a new 159 spot resort that was created with wide open space in mind. We are a great base camp between Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole Wyoming.  Guest amenities include a convenience store, hot tubs, firepits, pickleball courts, private showers and bathrooms, and laundry facilities.

Job Summary:

RV Resort Host manages daily upkeep of RV sites, cleaning & maintenance of amenities, and provides outstanding customer service. This position also requires the host to work in the office with reservations when needed. The primary objective of the RV Resort Host is to provide a superb customer service experience for guests when guests check in and during their stay as well as hosting activities when needed.

This position requires the following skills and abilities: Customer service skills; manual labor abilities; communication skills; basic fee collection and writing skills. The RV Resort Host must enjoy working in an environment with extensive public contact, have the ability to work with minimal supervision, and be able to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately. The RV Resort Host must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: April 7th, 2025-October 31, 2025
Schedule: Typical schedule is 20-30 hours, 5 days/per week (will include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Housing: Free RV site with full hook-ups and Idaho state hourly minimum wage

RV Host Duties and Responsibilities

Greet visitors, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
Ensure all customers have reviewed and accepted the RV Resort rules and signed any applicable waivers when arriving
Help with guest reservations and questions
Must be able to use a computer or laptop to take reservations if needed after hours
Manage reservations and sales of general store merchandise
Be available to guests daily, including evenings and mornings on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Ensure the RV sites are clean, safe, and in orderly condition at all times
Perform janitorial duties, including inspecting and cleaning all restrooms and laundry rooms daily
The Host shall notify the Administrator and maintenance staff of any urgent or emergency issues that would affect public safety or preservation of property
Making rounds in the Resort, at least 3 times a day, so they are seen if questions arise, or instructions need to be given to guests
Performing drive-by inspections of all RV sites each evening to ensure that payments have been made on all occupied sites and to make proper arrangements for guests who arrive without reservations
Refraining from public use of tobacco and alcohol, including e-cigarettes. Host shall not act in their official capacity while intoxicated or otherwise impaired
Maintaining good public relations and performing all duties in a courteous and professional manner, communicating effectively, both orally and in writing
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and required experience:

Ability to live on-site via their own motorhome, 5th wheel, or RV trailer
Strong customer service experience
Prior RV experience desirable but not necessary
Must be able to work outside regardless of weather conditions when needed
Maintain a tidy host site and a professional, approachable appearance
Proficient in email and basic computer skills preferred
Experience with janitorial and grounds keeping is preferred
Hosts are expected to stay for the duration of the season.
