Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • Trail/Campground Maintenance • Visitor Information • General Assistance Photo Courtesy of FS DescriptionDuties of this position: As an Assistant Campground Host, you will be representing the Forest Service, answering questions about the local area, services available and rules and regulations. The ability to provide a positive image, a professional attitude and appearance is essential to this position. Your host duties will entail maintaining clean bathrooms, campsites and assisting the main Camp Host with campground improvement and maintenance projects. You will be expected to work most week-ends and Holidays. You will be provided with a free camping and RV dump station nearby. Quosatana campground is located along the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. This Campground and boat launch provide year round access to the river for all types of watercraft. This site receives very high use during summer months. Facilities include 43 family campsites, flush toilets, garbage and potable water, a fish cleaning station and RV dump station. Located 14 miles up the Rogue River.
