Job Description
Hickory Knob State Resort Park is a beautiful 1000 acre state resort park situated on Strom Thurmond/Clarks Hill Lake in McCormick, SC. We are proud of the many unique amenities we offer: 44 campsites, along with our skeet, archery, and axe throwing range, our 18 hole golf course, boat ramp and rentals, and 3 beautiful hiking/biking trails.
We are looking for hosts for April-December 2024. Our summer months are the busiest, requiring at least 24 hours per host site per week. Most of this is spent cleaning our one campground bathhouse (toilets, sinks, trash, and showers) as well as using a leaf blower to clean sites and the campground roads. If the host is comfortable, they will also have the opportunity to help with landscaping and maintenance projects. Pets are very much welcome. Our sites will offer sewer hook ups, as well as 20 and 30 amp electric. You will report directly to our off-park ranger, Olivia, who loves working with our volunteers and ensuring they have a great experience working at Hickory Knob!
