Volunteer Activities• Conservation Education • Tour Guide/Interpretation • Visitor Information • Fish/Wildlife Photo Courtesy of FWS DescriptionVolunteer couples/pairs are needed to operate a 68 passenger nature tram on the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge. Nature tram operators lead the hour+ tour,which includes interpretive talks on an open-air tram as well as two short hikes. The work schedule is three days on, and four days off, including two days of tram tours, and one day in the Santa Ana NWR Visitor Center. Offered twice during the year in three month increments with a 2 week training week. Required training is provided two weeks prior to start date. In exchange, a concrete trailer pad, full utilities and hook-ups, washer/dryer facility are provided.
