NOW Hiring Campground Host
Summary:
Campground host lives and works in the campground and is a contact for visitors (April/May-September). They perform a variety of tasks such as greeting visitors, handing out information, collecting fees, light maintenance duties, educate and inform campers on campground policies, and inform staff about potential problems. They are educated in all GPUD recreational policies and park rules and abide by them. Two positions available 1. April 15th to September 15th 2. May 1st to October 15th . With 3 days a week off you can explore Central Washington and all its beauty.
Requirements:
MUST PROVIDE OWN TRAILER/RV
Trailer/RV stationed at assigned campsite all times during scheduled workdays
Remain overnight when scheduled for night shift
Physically fit to do cleaning, lifting and significant walking
For the right couple one person could act as camp host and they other could be employed in the office/store or
Maintenance crew
Duties:
Facilitate afterhours check-in and honor box availability
Responsible for after hour camper issues/concerns
Maintain a daily log while on duty and turning it into the office as required
Coordinate with afterhours security
Check for vehicle placards
Check site assignments against daily manifest
Check site after departure for damage
Work required hours as assigned weekly
Job is averaged at 40 hours a week 3.5-4 days on with 3-3.5 days off. Schedule may vary on holiday weeks
Help camping guests with affiliated campground needs
Maintain restrooms afterhours cleaning and stocking as necessary
Clean campsites and Post Reservation Tags by 2pm
Trash removal
Lock and Unlock buildings
Manage gates as needed
Follow established cash handling procedures
Abide by all Central Washington Management policies and rules
Abide by all Grant County PUD policies and rules
Work cooperatively with CBRA and GCPUD staff
Compensation:
Campsite with water, sewage, and electrical hook up
Salary based on experience and job duties negotiated
Golf Membership

Pro-shop cashier/ campground reservation and customer service
Role and Responsibilities
Ensure tee times are timely and accurate, managing supplies, product knowledge, merchandising sets, and stocking of store inventory, opening and closing procedures, sales, customer service and communicating with co-workers. Maintain golf carts, cleaning of restrooms, and other duties as assigned. Operating the cash register and handling cash transactions with customers. Creating reservations and checking in guests.
