Job Description
Continental Divide Park & Camp seeks 1 outdoor enthusiast to fulfill our summer Camp Host position starting immediately. Duties include housekeeping support, summer groundskeeping, general maintenance and customer service. FHU + hourly compensation included, and 6 or 12 month term options available. 25-30 hrs per week. Located 7 miles north of Silver City, New Mexico at 7,000ft elevation, and an hour’s drive from the stunning Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, our campground is the perfect home base for exploring this incredible and unique area of southwest New Mexico. Experience the first designated wilderness in the U.S., Fish in pristine and remote rivers and lakes, soak in natural hot springs, bike open roads and rugged mountain trails through forested routes, and hike scenic trails all within the neighboring Gila National Forest where the history of gold miners and Apache natives runs deep. Our 32 RV sites offer full hookups (30/50 amp electric, water, sewer) and our tent camping and primitive cabins are nestled among juniper trees for a true New Mexico experience. Bathhouse and laundry are onsite, and our newly renovated common house provides a simple place to gather and receive Wi-Fi connection.
