DESCRIPTION
Volunteer Activities• Campground Host DescriptionCurrently taking applications for experienced campground host volunteers. Big Bend is currently closed but will need experienced campground hosts at Chisos Basin Campground to help with reopening and staffing the campgrounds. A 3-month commitment is desired. Main duties: provide information and assistance to visitors, maintain campsite and reservation records (for group site only), inform visitors of rules and regulations, and other duties as assigned. Benefits: full hook-up site in the campground for your RV, plenty of hiking trails, the Rio Grande River, lots of dirt/gravel roads to explore, quiet, and wide open spaces! There is a pretty good grocery in Study Butte, TX about 35 miles away.
