JOB DESCRIPTION:
Park Hosting is maintaining a gatehouse at a day-use park, Highland Park, which monitors visitors as they come in if they have paid an admission to the park or not already. If the visitor has not paid, the Host must make sure they do or know how to prior to entering the park. Hosting will be on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, 8 hours/day, when visitation is at peak during the week. The gates to the park are open 24 hours a day. There is a boat ramp, fishing pier, beach, and group shelter in the park. Many visitors like to frequent the park during daylight hours. However, some will fish from the pier at nighttime. One of our campgrounds is located 1.5 miles down the road from the park also.
Applicant’s must have their own RV. A 20/30/50-amp hookup is available, with water and sewer hookups as well.
Applicant’s must have general hospitality skills in handling the public visitors to the park.
