ANNOUNCEMENT OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Recreation Site Host – 2 openings
Goldwater Lake, Watson Lake
This is a volunteer position.
As volunteers for the City of Prescott, the Recreation Site Host shall provide customer service and custodial duties for the City of Prescott’s city-wide Recreation Services sites during the camping season.
Duties:
-Working a schedule and duties; provided by the Recreation Services Department Maintenance Supervisor or designee
-Assisting campers with camping registrations and payments
-Keeping track of occupied and reserved sites; directing campers to vacant sites
-Working cooperatively with Department maintenance staff and volunteers
-Wearing any uniform items provided by the Department
-Complying with all park rules and regulations
-Working closely with law enforcement personnel as needed
-Keeping their campsite in a presentable condition
-Opening and closing entrance gates as requested
-Keeping pets under control at all times
-Manage site when reserved for a large-scale event
-Other duties as assigned
