**Small Resort** – Onsite Couple ~ Cabins/RV Sites~ 2024 Season- Shasta Lake – Lakehead, CA
We are a small Resort located in the mountains, surrounded by forest on Shasta Lake in Northern California and are seeking an on-site couple.

Wildlife and nature surround the resort in a peaceful and quiet setting. This is a place where you can feel a sense of pride and accomplishment as you provide hosting for the guests and maintain the property.
As we are in a remote location, the perfect couple should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable in this type of setting. Do you love meeting new people? Do you thrive on hospitality? If so, we may be the perfect place for you! This is perfect for those who are looking for an opportunity, perhaps slowing life down, and yet, still have energy to provide the resort guests with customer service. It is acceptable to have one of you in a full or part-time job weekdays, which would be flexible enough to still help, as needed during the season at the resort.
Our resort features 7 RV sites and 10 cabins.
Our “Resort Season” begins in May and goes through just after Labor Day weekend. We are looking for a couple for the “Season” to stay on property in a furnished 2-bedroom 1 bathroom cabin.
The management (or representative) will be on the property Monday through Friday from 8 – 4 and 1 weekend a month.
Management will coordinate off-time scheduling with the couple and this would be discussed during the interview process as we understand that having time away from the property together is important.
The ideal candidates shall have experience in a similar setting; have the energy to maintain the resort guests daily and be available to guests’ needs.
The ideal candidates’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Greeting guests, welcoming off road guests, checking guests in and out, tending to guests’ needs, showing the resort property.
· Security, monitoring, checking chemicals and putting in pool sweep at the pool in the evenings, and general upkeep of the pool.
· Always Enforcing the resort rules and policies.
· bagging ice, providing fire pits, grills, firewood to guests
· Customer service, which includes providing guests with lake activity information and local information.
· On site security – There are security cameras.
· Perform basic carpentry / plumbing repairs, and maintenance to buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds.
· Implement daily maintenance and cleaning, including lawn mowing and edging lawns, garbage pick – up and various other resort upkeep.
· Dispose of, daily, all garbage on property and recycling as needed to deter wildlife.
· Human relations with current, potential, and return guests.
· Communication with Management
· Ability to troubleshoot issues and requests.

· The couple must set an example by being a model by always practicing good housekeeping, cleanliness, being organized and respectful. This is for someone with a can-do attitude who can make rounds (golfcart on property), engage lightly with guests, can handle multiple responsibilities, and remain calm and collected while doing so.
· We provide the couple with a 2-bedroom furnished cabin, which includes Dish TV & Wi-Fi (Satellite), electric, heating/air conditioning, propane, laundry during the Resort Summer Season.
Onsite seasonal Position is available beginning April through September 2025
