Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • Construction/Maintenance • Visitor Information DescriptionThis camp host opportunity is located at Haystack Mountain OHV Area, approximately 20 miles NE of Roswell, NM. It offers an amazing view of the Pecos River Valley and red, rugged escarpments within the area. The OHV area hosts several nationally sanctioned motorcycle “trials” events throughout the year which is a great way to meet new folks from all around. This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of Haystack Mountain OHV Area and Mescalero Sands OHV Area. Duties include pulling trash, cleaning vault toilets (2), and other minor maintenance duties such as painting, trimming weeds, and cleaning grills/fire rings, etc. Greeting visitors and answering questions are priority tasks as well. Customer service is extremely important to us and we ask that this camp host helps all visitors have a quality recreational experience.
