JOB DESCRIPTION:
AREA IS REMOTE – Salineno, Texas
Looking for single/couple from October 17 to March 31.
Duties: Work alternate days with other host(s), minor invasive grass removal on grounds, maintain trail and butterfly garden, set up and maintain bird feeding station, and maintain water features.
Activities: Welcome and interact with guests from 8-4 daily, answer questions about birds, maintain guest books, manage donations and records for the site.
Amenities: Full hookup 30/50 amp RV pad, internet and landline provided on site
Difficulty: Varies, moderate to strenuous. Use basic garden tools and handle bags of bird food.
Training: Knowledge of birds, butterflies, and native Texas plants recommended.
Skills: Use binoculars and resource books to identify birds, butterflies, and plants to visitors.
Job Hazards: Thorns, uneven ground and bees
Security clearance: Reference checks.
