Job description
Copperwood Communities, headquartered in Gilbert, AZ, is a successful family-owned investor and operator of affordable housing and resort properties in Arizona and Nevada.
We have an opening for a qualified full-time Resort Manager to work at our property Casa Grande RV Resort located at 195 W Rodeo Rd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122. This is a large, active park with 320 RV sites and 34 Cottage rentals. The park has a wide array of amenities and community activities for all ages. Casa Grande RV Resort has future expansion plans to which our new manager will have a vital role in the new development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in lodging hospitality management at a similar property (large-scale, high-volume park for short term and long term stays in RV sites and Cottages).
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality or equivalent training and experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in management required. Our team ranges from 12 up to 16 during the busy season – including front counter/reception, housekeeping, maintenance, activities director, kitchen staff and management.
- Must be able to mentor new staff and build high-functioning teams.
- This is a working manager position with the ability to handle the guest experience from booking to checkout, fostering positive guest feedback.
- Strong customer, business, and administration skills.
- Operations experience, ability to manage staff, develop schedules, manage projects, and resolve problems.
- Reservation software applications experience. Ability to enter data accurately and check your work are essential.
- Microsoft Productivity Software experience – Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience in maintaining customer records and confidentiality.
- Bookkeeping experience useful.
- Attributes – Reliable, honest, hard-working, basic math skills, good writing skills, attention to detail, ability to focus on work, proactive problem solver. Positive attitude, strong work ethic.
- Experience in an office setting with managing 15 to 20 employees.
- Experience in handling guest bookings and administering park rules and regulations.
- Team oriented and committed to continued success of the company.
- Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
- Non-smoking environment.
- Ability to lift boxes and equipment up to 35 lbs.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 DOE, onsite housing allowance, and eligible for Performance Bonus.
Full-time: 40 hours per week, Schedule: To Be Determined.
