ELS is hiring for the position of Ranger in Fall City, Washington.

What you’ll do:

The Campground Ranger/Guest Check position includes patrol of the grounds, responding to camper questions, enforcing rules and ensuring the safety of our guests. . The ideal employee can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regards to company rules/customer service standards. Must be comfortable with computers.

 

Your job will include:

* Generous monthly rent employee discount for RV site. Rig must meet standards. This is a full time year round position.

  • Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems.
  • Ensure that the property is properly secured.
  • Ensure that guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern and contact law enforcement if necessary.
  • Monitor all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate if access is acceptable.
  • Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
  • Take camping reservations, check people in and out of system.
  • Trouble shoot reservation issues in system. Customer follow up via phone or in person.
  • Perform on-call emergency and after hours service as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. i.e. assist in other departments (housekeeping, maintenance) if requested.

 

Skills & experience you need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills and the ability to use computer applications. Previous experience with reservation systems a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.
  • Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Experience working in campgrounds, hotel front desk, or similar environment, is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required. Peak season and off season hours vary.

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of CA, WA, NY, and CO, is:

Hourly: $18.00 – $18.72
