Camp Store Host

Dead Lakes Park – RV & Campground is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Camp Host to work in our camp store and organize activities for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, enjoys the outdoors, and has a passion for creating memorable experiences for campers. You will be the face of the campground in the evenings, assisting guests with store purchases, providing information, and hosting fun activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Camp Store Management:

Greet guests and assist with purchases in the camp store
Handle cash and card transactions
Restock shelves, clean, and organize the store
Provide information about the campground and local area to guests

Activity Coordination:

Plan and host fun activities for campers (e.g., campfire storytelling, nature walks, arts and crafts, s’mores night)
Create a welcoming environment for guests of all ages
Engage with campers to ensure they are having a positive experience
Gather feedback from campers and assist in improving future events

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality
Ability to handle sales transactions
Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or outdoor recreation is a plus
Ability to plan and execute family-friendly activities
Must be available to work evenings, including weekends and holidays
